Hi, I'm Lizziee.
This story began long before I ever imagined writing a children's book.
When I was ten years old, my family rescued a tiny baby owl after a tropical storm in the Dominican Republic. We cared for it, fed it, and watched it grow stronger until the day it spread its wings and flew away.
That memory stayed with me for decades. Today, I'm sharing it in the hope that it inspires children to notice the world around them, care for animals, and remember that even small acts of kindness can make a lasting difference.
